Are you sure you work safely in and around the wind turbine?

January 18, 2016

The wind energy sector has experienced tremendous growth over the past decade, and this is expected to continue. Subsequently, also the jobs in this sector will increase: installation, operation and maintenance.

A constant progression in turbine technology and the growth in the number of professionals working in this sector means we have an ongoing responsibility to ensure that people work safely in and around wind turbines.

How do you know if you work in a safe manner?

The European Agency for Safety and Health at Work published a report about working safely in the wind energy sector. Together with this report, the checklist “OSH Risks in the Wind Energy Sector” will help you inventory possible risks for activities such as installations, transportation, operation and maintenance.
